Zoning analysis has been updated to include new permission management for creating and accessing zoning. Each zoning, whether existing or newly created, will now have an assigned Owner, who is the original creator. Owners can grant editing rights to others or transfer ownership of the zoning. Viewers of a zoning can request editing rights.
How to give permissions for a zoning analysis
- After creating a zoning, there are two ways to edit permissions
a) Via the zoning analysis module on the tab My Zonings. On the zoning, click the three dots '...' to display the drop down for Change owner-b) Via within the zoning analysis at the 'gear wheel' at the top- - Click on Manage Edit rights-
- Locate the user to be added and select Add.
- Once you have clicked Add, assign the user the required permissions (View only OR Edit)
- Finally, click on Save.
Note: Users must request editor rights through the zoning system, and the editor must approve or add them for editing permissions.
