Metric definition
Percentage of sessions where a user viewed a specific page and returned for another session.
About the multi-session return rate window
This is determined by the start date applied in the analysis context, until the present day.
Example
You set the date range in Page Comparator to May 1st - May 7th. The user retention metric will look at users who re-visited your site from May 1st to the present day, after having visited the page or page group.
How to interpret it
Discover which pages drive users to return to your website. High user retention indicates the page or page group is interesting or valuable to users, causing them to re-visit your site.
