Before you begin
- Make sure that you've already installed Google Tag Manager on your site, so that a Google Tag Manager container is present on your site.
Installing the tag as a custom HTML tag in Google Tag Manager
1. Copy your Contentsquare tag from inside Contentsquare.
2. In your Google Tag Manager Workspace, click Add a New Tag.
3. Click inside the Tag Configuration area, then select Custom HTML from the list.
4. In the HTML text field, paste the Contentsquare tag.
5. Click inside the Triggering area.
6. On the Choose a trigger page, click All Pages.
7. Name the tag, then click Save.
8. To confirm the changes, click Submit.
9. On the Submit Changes window, make sure that Publish to Environment is set to Live.
10. To push the changes to your live site, click Publish.
Allow time for the installation to take effect, then verify the installation in Contentsquare.
