How do Contentsquare plans work?
Contentsquare products
Contentsquare offers multiple products that include capabilities and features designed to help you understand and enhance your users' experience.
- Experience Analytics helps increase engagement and conversion with session replay, heatmaps, and more.
- Voice of Customer helps improve user happiness based on feedback and usability testing.
- Product Analytics helps improve user journeys, retention, and loyalty.
For each of the Contentsquare products listed above, you can select an individual plan for that product: Free, Growth, Pro, or Enterprise. Visit the Contentsquare pricing page to find out more about each plan. If you want to change your Contentsquare plan, follow the steps in How do I change my Contentsquare plan.
Contentsquare plans
When you select a plan for a Contentsquare product, that plan will apply at the account-level. All sites inside your account will have access to a plan's capabilities and features. The different allowances for captured sessions (Experience Analytics) and collected responses (Voice of Customer) included in the product plan are distributed equally across all sites in your account.
For example, if your Experience Analytics plan includes 10k sessions and you have two sites in your account, each site will get 5k sessions. If your Voice of Customer plan includes 500 monthly responses, each site will get an allowance of 250 responses. If a new site is added to your account, the system automatically recalculates and redistributes the allowances equally among all sites in your account. This does not apply for Pro and Enterprise plans.
For further reading on sessions and responses, see our articles on how a session is calculated and responses allowances.
How does billing work?
Your selected plan for each Contentsquare product applies at the account-level and billing also occurs at the account-level.
Here are some key elements to how billing works:
- You can only have one payment method on your account at a time.
- The recurring payment covers all plans applied to your account.
- Payment happens on the same billing date unless you upgrade a plan mid-billing cycle which will result in an immediate pro-rata payment based on the days left until the next billing renewal for your account.
- You can change your plan at any moment. For help with this see our article How do I change my Contentsquare plan.
Which currency will I pay with?
European-based customers are billed in Euros (EUR) and customers outside of this region are billed in U.S. dollars (USD).
FAQs about Contentsquare Free and Growth pricing plans
How does the Voice of Customer response allowance work?
Your plan for the Voice of Customer product determines how many responses you can collect each month. When you reach your response limit, your surveys will no longer appear and so new responses won't be collected. You can upgrade to collect more responses or wait until the response allowance resets which is on the first day of each month. The response allowance reset date can be a different date from your account's billing cycle. To understand how the response allowance works, see our dedicated article on How does the response allowance work.
What happens if I exceed the session limit for my Experience Analytics plan?
When your session allowance limit is reached, new data won't be collected for the remainder of your billing cycle. To continue collecting data you can upgrade the session allowance for your plan or wait until your allowance resets at the next billing cycle date. We recommend selecting a plan that allows you to capture every session.
Are there any discounts?
There is a 20% yearly discount when paying in-app on a yearly billing cycle. Customers making yearly payments via manual invoice do not receive the discount, it is only available to customers that pay in-app via credit card or PayPal.
