Scroll reach is represented as a pixel line on your Zoning Analysis screenshot, along with a percentage of the page height. It indicates the point on the page where 50% of users have scrolled to.
How it's calculated
Scroll Reach is based on the average position scrolled by users during their page visit.
Scroll Reach = Pixel height of Scroll Reach line ÷ Total pixel height of the page x 100
Where:
- Pixel height of Scroll Reach line = the vertical position where 50% of users have scrolled to.
- Total pixel height of the page = the full height of the page.
How to interpret it
Scroll Reach tells you how far down the page most users get, helping you spot if important content is hidden too far down.
- A higher Scroll Reach means more users are scrolling deeper into your page.
- A lower Scroll Reach means users are leaving before reaching the lower parts of your page.
