Segments are groups of users who share characteristics.
Ex: A "New users" segment groups together all users coming to your site for the first time.
Ex: Segments can be as simple as "New users" or more complex with multiple conditions like, Users who "Reached product page" then "Viewed checkout". Learn more about sequential segments here.
Create and use segments to customize the displayed data in your analysis and focus on the population that interests you most.
Ex: Select "New users" as your segment in your Analysis context when using Journey analysis to analyze data for that unique population.
