Page comparator displays a list of pages from the mapping you've selected in your Analysis context. The list shows performance metrics associated with each page so you can compare them side by side. You can monitor page performance over time or compare between different population segments or devices.
How to use Page comparator
Feature overview
1. Select from which mapping you want to analyze pages. You can either select a 'Page group' from a mapping, or analyze a single URL using the 'Pages' option.
2. Select a page or page group to focus on by 'pinning' it - click the pin icon on the left side of the page.
3. Type a specific page name into the search bar to find it faster.
4. Analysis context - Choose your mapping, device, time period and segment.
5. Your conversion goals correspond to the goals you've created in the Goal module. Choose a goal in the selector and see the contribution of each page to selected goal through the "conversion" metric.
6. Comparison mode - Compare a segment, device and/ or time period across two page groups or two URLs.
7. More menu - Find other features, such as the possibility to export and share your analysis.
8. Metrics - A tooltip associated with each of these metrics makes it possible to display their definition by hovering over their name directly in the module. Metrics can be divided into three categories:
- in-site navigation metrics - related to the attractiveness of the page
- in-page navigation metrics - related to the use of the page
- performance metrics - related to the performance of a page according to the goal selected

Customizing our Page Comparator
Select which metrics, and in what order, you want to display in your Page Comparator:
1. Click on 'Customize column'
2. Check the box next to the metric you want to display, and uncheck the box for the metric you want to remove.
3. Using the six dots on the right of a metric, you can drag and drop the metric to rearrange the order in which you want to display them in. The metric at the top will be the first to be displayed in the Page Comparator (furthest to the left).
