A goal is a user navigation event collected by Contentsquare SDK, that can be used in your analysis. The 'Goals' module allows you to define your users' navigational events as goals.
Goals Overview
Go to 'Analysis setup' from the main menu and click on 'Goals' from the sub menu.
On the Goals module’s homepage, you'll find a list of all the created goals.
1. Show results for:
- All goals: list of all created goals
- My goals: only the goals you created will be displayed
- Favorites: all the goals you bookmarked will be kept under that section
2. Search for a specific goal by its name.
3. See all info about a goal, such as name, type etc. Use the arrows to sort your goals, e.g. based on when it was updated or created.
4. See what type of goals are in the list - a goal can be either a 'View goal' (act of a user viewing a specific screen of your app) or 'Tap goal' (act of a user taping on a specific element of a screen).
5. Click on "New goal" to create a new goal.
6. Click on the " . . . " more button to edit or delete a goal.
Creating goals
1. Name your goal.
2. Give a description.
3. Choose whether it is a tap or view goal.
4. Select the correct mapping and screen.
Save your new goal by clicking on 'Create'. Remember that you can save the goal to your favorites by clicking on the star.
