Located in the Menu bar, the Screens Metrics module allows you to compare your application screens' key metrics and identify how many users bounce, convert and engage with the App. You can use it to supplement and detail the anomalies identified in the Journey Analysis module and compare screens with one another.
Screen Metrics Overview
1. Choose wether you want to analyze an entire screen group, or one particular screen. If you want to analyze an entire screen group, you also need to select a mapping.
2. Select a screen or screen group to focus on by 'pinning' it - click the pin icon on the left side of the page.
3. Type a specific screen name into the search bar to find it faster.
4. Analysis context: choose your mapping, device, time period and segment.
5. Your conversion goal corresponds to the goals you've created in the Goal module. Choose a goal in the selector and see the contribution of each screen to the selected goal through the "conversion" metric.
6. More menu: find other features, such as the possibility to export your analysis.
7. Metrics: a tooltip associated with each of these metrics makes it possible to display their definition by hovering over their name directly in the module. Metrics can be divided into three categories:
- in-app navigation metrics - related to the attractiveness of the screen
- in-screen navigation metrics - related to the use of the screen
- performance metrics - related to the performance of a screen according to the goal selected

Customizing your Screen Metrics view
Select which metrics, and in what order, you want to display in Screen Metrics:
1. Click on 'Customize column'.
2. Check the box(es) next to the metric(s) you want to display, and uncheck those that you don’t.
3. Click 'Save'.
4. Using the six dots icon on the right of a metric, you can drag and drop the metrics to rearrange the order in which you want to display them in. The metric at the top will be the first to be displayed in Screen Metrics (furthest to the left).
How to read the data?
Once your Analysis Context is set with a mapping, device, period, and segment, all the screens from the selected mapping will display data for each of the metrics.
E.g. with Conversion Rate
In the example below, 67.8% of the new users tapped on the "add to cart" button.
Comparison mode
The Comparison mode is located in the Analysis context.
1. Click on the initial element (device, period or segment), toggle the 'Compare' mode on and choose the comparison element. Click Apply to display the data.
2. Select on which screens you want to analyze the comparison on by clicking the 'pin' icon next to the screen name in the screen group list.
Interpreting the Data
In your Analysis context, the two elements are displayed in two different colors:
- the dark blue one is your element of reference - the first one you chose
- the purple one is your element of comparison - the second one you chose
Each screen you're comparing will display three (3) lines of figures:
- data gap between element of reference and element of comparison
- metrics associated with the element of reference
- metrics associated with the comparison element
Tip: You can hover over the cells to help you read the figure displayed.
