Dashboards allows you to personalize your information by following and grouping all the KPIs you are interested in one single interface. You can leverage multiple Dashboards to get insights for different levels of analysis.
Go to the menu and click on Dashboards.
Depending on your needs, Dashboards can help you understand the performance of different screens at a glance.
In Dashboards, you create widgets to get data you're tracking displayed on. You’ll find five types of widgets:
Single-value widgets: Small widgets set to Revenue, Bounce rate, Sessions and Number of conversions by default
Line chart widget Large widget showing the app KPIs such as Visits and Conversion rate curves over the selected period)
Table widget: A widget showing the top values within a certain category.
Image widget: A widget that allows you to add any screenshot of an image and add a screenshot of a defined page group.
Funnels: A widget that will help you focus on the key steps of your users’ journeys and allows you to get a closer look at the steps where users convert the best, identify potential usability issues and prioritize areas for improvement.
Dashboards Overview
1. Access your list of dashboards by clicking "Open dashboard list". From there, you can also create a new dashboard or find dashboards that have been shared with you (you’ll get a notification whenever you receive one). You can have up to 100 dashboards.
2. Click the "..." icon to duplicate, export, or delete your dashboard. You can also share the dashboard with your team, as well as manage permissions.
Note: You might have view-only rights. If so, duplicate your dashboard to edit it.
3. Use the Analysis context to set the device, time period, and segments to filter for specific data. Note that your default settings are always there - just remove the filters to return to your original dashboard. More details in the Dashboards - Analysis context article.
4. Single value widgets - display the chosen elements of analysis you've set, based on the selected time period.
5. Line chart widgets - display two chosen metrics. Mouse over the curves to see metric details day by day or hour by hour.
6. Data table widgets - see the comparison of a metric across different categories (such as Screen Resolution, Device and App Version) by displaying the top values for each category.
7. Hover over any widget to edit it or move it across the grid.
See how to add or edit a widget in this article.
Shortcuts
You can jump directly to Session Replay or Zoning Analysis and to create an alert from any widget.
How it works
Choose a zone, app or screen group widget and hover over the widget. Click the "More options" three-dot button to open the menu. Select "See in Session Replay" (for zone, screen and app level widgets) or "See in Zoning" (zone and screen level widgets).
When you click 'See in Session Replay', a pop-up opens the session replay player within your Dashboards. The replays shown are filtered based on the widget settings you right-clicked on and your current analysis context.
If comparison is enabled in your widget, you will also be able to choose the specific configuration for the replay, such as the device or segment you wish to target:

When you click on "See in Zoning", a pop up appears asking you to select a zoning and mentions at the same time the analysis context you will see in your zoning: Note: If you don't have a zoning created yet, you will be redirected to the zoning creation wizard with all the information already pre-filled. |
Once you are in Session Replay or Zoning Analysis you can see that the conditions of your widget (period, segment, goal achievement) will already be applied to the Analysis context.
Create an alert from a widget
You can create alerts directly from a widget you're interested to monitor closely. Make sure you are on the edit mode, and click on the 'more options' button of the widget. After you've clicked on "Create an alert" the information related to the context of your widget will automatically be pulled. You can still edit the context and click on "Create" when you're ready. You will receive an alert via an e-mail every time unusual variations occur on your app.
