Insight's Session replay surfaces up to five (5) of the highest quality live user sessions for each insight (i.e. Rage click or FastBack). Watch exactly how your users experience insights that generate frustration so you can troubleshoot faster.
Watch an insight using Session replay
1. From your Insights page, click See replays on any insight where the replay option is available.
A Session Replay player is overlayed with a clip that starts at 5 seconds before the insight event.
2. Use the left side panel to navigate between the different replays linked to the selected insight.
Use the Frustration scores to find sessions that were particularly problematic for users.
Using the Session Replay event stream with Insights
Event stream is found inside the Session Replay player and displays user actions and page events. Using the Filters dropdown, you can select Insights to view these Insights-related events in the Event stream:
- Rage clicks
- Multiple field interactions
- Multiple button interactions

Quantify the impact of an insight via the event stream
Use Impact Quantification to view the impact on your users and business goals resulting from a specific insight.
1. Within the event stream, select the checkbox next to an insights event (rage clicks, multiple field interactions, multiple button interactions).
2. Click Quantify.
3. You will be redirected to the Impact Quantification view for this specific insight.

What if I don’t have a 100% sampling on Session replay, does it impact the number of replays Insights will provide?
Your Session replay sampling does impact the selection of replays Insights provided.
How many replays are necessary for an insight to be listed?
Only one (1) replay is necessary for the insight to populate in Insights.
How many days of Session replay sessions do I have access to?
30 days or more depending on your contract. If you attempt to access Session replays outside the allotted time period you will receive a message that replays are no longer available for your selected period.
