How it works
Contentsquare collects product barcodes from your catalog. Next, our robots crawl Google Shopping and Amazon to collect all publicly accessible data and our algorithms match the products in your catalog with the retrieved products.
The pricing Contentsquare retrieves includes any displayed discount and is updated every 24 hours. (This excludes promo codes and any other discounts applied at checkout).
Navigate to Competitors
Click on Merchandising Competitors
You can also access your competitor's data by going to Categories or Brands and clicking on the Competitive data tab.
Competitors list
Access the list of your competition and compare your catalog and pricing strategy with theirs as you view:

Number of products in common
See how many products each competitor has in common with your own catalog. -
Price difference
What is the average price difference between products my competitors and I have in common? Is my competitor globally cheaper or more expensive than me?
You can refine your search with filters, to isolate the competitors you have for specific types of products, or focus on retailers referenced on Google Shopping.
You can expand a list of resellers in the marketplace by clicking on the small arrow.
Clicking on a competitor's name will lead you to a view dedicated to this specific competitor.
Compare pricing
This price comparison visualization shows your price positioning compared to a competitor's. Take advantage of the global metrics provided to position your offer more competitively in relation to other sellers.
Scroll to the Price comparison table below the visualization to see your competitor’s price (the one displayed on the product page), your price (the one in the catalog), and the percentage of the price difference between the two products.
If you click on any product in this table, you will be redirected to its dedicated Performance and sales page.

Click on any product from your product's list and scroll down to view the product performance comparison.
Compare your price with the market price or choose a specific competitor. See how your conversion rates or revenue stack up relative to your price positioning.
- Toggle between Conversion rate or Revenue to analyze price comparison against your product performance.
- Select +Add a competitor to see if there are particular competitors impacting performance
