Shortcuts allow you to move seamlessly through your analysis and view key information at a glance:
- Drill down into a specific screen
- Create Segments, Goals, Alerts, or Widgets from a screen.
- See a screen in a different Analyze module (Screen Metrics, Zoning Analysis, or Session Replay).
Right-click on any screen step in your Journey Analysis to open the Shortcuts menu:
How to show or edit screen groups
In this section you can see what screens a screen group contains, and edit your different screen groups.
Show Page Group
Screens: Under 'Screens' you can see which screens are the most viewed screens for the time range you selected - the number of views is displayed for the last 14 days maximum.
Conditions: See what conditions the screengroup contains.
Edit screen groups
This feature allows you to refine your screen group condition, split a screen group, and include the undefined screens to an already existing screen group directly from your journey visualization.

How to define undefined pages
To define undefined pages, right-click on the grey circles in the Undefined pages section and select 'Show/edit page groups'. In the panel that opens, you'll find the list of Undefined pages linked to the Analysis context settings. To define them, click on the 'Create page group' CTA. You will be prompted to a page editor where you can use path/host/query/custom variable conditions to add the undefined pages to an existing group or create a new page group. Learn more about mapping conditions Click the arrow next to the summary details of the undefined pages to expand the list of undefined pages. Use this expanded list as a reference when creating your new page group.
After defining the page conditions, click on either 'Create page group' or 'Add to an existing page' to save your page settings. |
How to Quantify
This option allows you to drill down into segments of users and see the trends across screens or in-screen interactions. You can either quantify on a specific screen, or on a journey to a specific screen.
You'll be redirected to Impact Quantification where you can spot revenue-generating opportunities and issues to troubleshoot. Read more in this article.
How to create a segment
Create segments from the Shortcuts panel exactly the same way as in the Segments module. See how to create Segments from the Segments modules in this article.
1. Right-click on a step and select 'Create a segment' - select either 'on this screen' or 'on the journey to this screen'.
2. The name is auto-filled with the screen name of the screen you clicked. You can rename your segment.
3. You can add your segment to Favorites, so you find it quicker in the segment list of your Analysis Context.
4. Click on "Create", or if you want to apply the segment directly in the Analysis context, click on "Create & Apply".
How to create a sequential segment
From Journey Analysis shortcuts, you can also create sequential segments based on a "THEN" or "DIRECTLY THEN" operators. This feature allows you to create a segment of users based on a specific path they have taken.
1. Right-click a step (starting from step 2) and click: 'Create a segment' and 'on the journey to X Screen'.
2.The segment creation panel will open, with all screenviews automatically populated and sequentially placed.
3. You can either create that segment or create and directly apply it in the Analysis context. This segment will automatically apply to the Journey visualization.

How to jump to a different Analyze module
Right-click on a screen and select 'See in' from the Shortcuts menu to gain insights for that screen in a different Analyze module (Screen Metrics, Zoning Analysis, or Session Replay).
