Disable insights that are not relevant to your analysis or that you've identified as false positives.
Disabling an insight will remove it from that page's insight list, opportunity score calculation, and other KPI calculations.
What is a false positive?
False-positive insights happen when intended visitor behavior on your site is misclassified as friction.
For example, if Insights detects a visitor clicking repeatedly on a page element on your Homepage but the element is a slideshow intended to be clicked on multiple times, you would want to disable that specific Rage click insight to generate a more accurate opportunity score (list and KPIs etc.).
How to disable an insight
Click Disable Insight to disable and Enable Insight to enable.
Note! All disabled insights are stored in a Disabled insights section at the bottom of the page.
What happens after I disable an Insight?
Disabled insights are not deleted. Instead, they appear in a separate category, at the bottom of your insights list. You can enable a disabled insight by clicking Enable insight.
Will this disable it for my whole team/organization?
Disabling an insight is personal to each Contentsquare user. Meaning, if you disable a specific insight, your teammate will still have it enabled unless they also choose to manually disable it for their personal Contentsquare account's view.
