This feature requires Experience Monitoring, available on Enterprise plans, or as an add-on on Pro plans.
Introduction
Create dashboards to monitor Error occurrence over time. Use Dashboards to monitor the behaviours:
- Ad hoc when you receive email alerts
- Regularly when you check the dashboard
How to set up the error segments
1. Go to the Segments to create error segments.
Here are a couple of examples of error segments you could create:
- A segment of users who have visited any page and experienced any JS error.
- A segment of users who have visited the Cart page and experienced a specific JS error.
How to set up the dashboard
1. Go to 'Dashboards' from the main menu.
2. Select 'Open dashboard list' and select '+New dashboard'.
3. Select 'Fully customizable'
4. Use the segments to add the widgets to your dashboard. E.g.
- Site wide line graphs which focus on number of sessions and percentage of sessions with an error.
- Page level widgets so you can focus on the errors and percentage of sessions with errors across key pages
You can follow different KPIs on the error segments E.g. Conversion rate of visitors experiencing errors.
5. Create alerts from the Alerts or using the shortcuts in Dashboards to receive emails when there is unusual behavior.
