Bounce rate
Ratio between users that landed on this screen and left the app without seeing a second screen and the total number of users who landed on this screen
How it is calculated
Number of sessions with one page view ÷ Number of sessions that visit the page
Note: Contentsquare Bounce Rate can differ from other analytics tools as "bounce rate" is sometimes defined as the percentage of visits with only one interaction.
Conversion rate
Ratio of sessions during which users visited the screen and completed the goal and all sessions where users visited the screen
How it is calculated
Number of sessions with conversion that visit the page ÷ Total number of sessions that visit the page
Multi session purchase rate
The percentage of users who completed an ecommerce transaction after viewing the screen group or screen (in the same session or any future sessions).
For multi-session metrics, a "future" session describes a subsequent session in which the user visited your app, and in this case completed a purchase.

Ratio between the number of users that ended their navigation on a screen and the total number of screenviews.

Number of sessions which page was the last to be seen ÷ Total number of views on the page
Landing rate
Ratio between users who landed on this screen and the total number of users
How it is calculated
Total number of first page views ÷ All the pages with the specific page, and it is the first page

Total number of sessions where the screen was viewed at least once

Ratio between the number of sessions that belongs to the segment you set and the total number of sessions
Retention
The percentage of users who returned in a new session after viewing the screen or screen group.
A "new" session describes a subsequent session in which the user visited your app.

User retention = number of users that returned in a new session / number of users who viewed the screen or screen group
Time spent
Average time spent on the screen, from the first screenview event to the last event sent
How it is calculated
Sum of page duration for pages that had duration up to 30 min ÷ Total number of views on the page
