Introduction
Create JIRA tickets directly in Error Analysis to optimize workflows and help speed up troubleshooting.
View errors that tickets have already been created for, to avoid duplication and easily navigate directly to the Jira ticket through the link.
How to create a ticket
Ticket creation permissions
The creation of JIRA tickets can only be carried out by customer Admin, Expert or Analyst user roles.
Jira tickets can be created and viewed from the error side panel, and from the error full page.
- From Error Analysis, click onto an error to open the side panel.
- Click 'Send to Jira'.
-
A Jira ticket form will open for you to complete the issue fields. The description field will be pre-populated with useful information such as the error's details (e.g. error type, group ID, name etc), and the URL to the Error in Contentsquare, for example.
- Note that the form details displayed are based on the 'Issue type' template configured in Jira.
- Click 'Send' when done.
Once you have sent the ticket, the error side panel will display a ‘Sent to Jira’ status and it won't be possible to edit the ticket details from Error Analysis.
