Mappings rights management system allows having a transparency over the ownership and the edit rights of a mapping.
Mappings rights differ from user rights that you manage in the console. To be owner of a mapping, you need either Expert or Admin role on the project.

Which role do I have?
Below you can see the tag indicating your rights on a mapping, and users who have edit rights:On the interface you can see "your rights" on the mapping and whom the mapping has been "shared with".
Viewer
If you want to be able to edit the mapping, the owner of the mapping can grant you edit rights.
Editor
You can use all the mappings on the project and view its page groups, and conditions that have been used to create them.
Owner
As Owner of the mapping, you can:

edit and delete the mapping;

transfer the ownership to another project "admin" or team member;

grant edit rights of the mapping.
Click on the three dot ... menu of the mapping to access edit rights and ownership management.
Click on "Manage edit rights" to assign new editors.
Admin
As Admin of the project, you can create, edit and delete any mapping, as well as assign ownership and grant edit rights to other team members.
You can edit and create Reference mappings for your team.
