If you are interested in Event Stream, please reach out to your CSM.
Event Stream is a panel that is located on the left side of the Session Replay’s player. It allows you to see collected events in real-time as you watch the replay.
The following information is displayed:
-
Comments
-
Replay details (collecting start/stop, app restarted, quality changes*)
-
App visibility (app in background/foreground)
- Gesture events (see the Gesture in Event Stream section below)
To learn more about the Event Stream, visit our overview of the Session Replay Player for Apps.
Quality change event
If your app visitors switch from wifi to mobile network (or vice versa), the event stream will display this event, and the replay quality will increase or decrease. Note that the quality changes are linked to the quality settings defined during the implementation process, and not to what the visitors see on their mobile.
However, the orientation change is not reflected as an event inside the event stream.
