Add a widget
The widgets help you track important insights, personalize your view, and present a clear data story instantly. This guide will help you understand how to create, configure, and manage widgets to tailor your dashboards to your specific needs.
You can add a widget by clicking the “Add widget” button at the top right of the dashboard.
You can also add a widget by hovering over the space between widgets and clicking on the [+] button.
This will open a panel where you can choose which type of widget you want to display. You can choose between a single value, a line chart, a data table, a preview image of the page group, a funnel, or a placeholder widget
Move and resize your widgets
You are able to customize the size and position of your widgets on your dashboards using a simple drag-and-drop feature.
Drag to move
Hover over the top central section of the widget to move. A tool tip will be displayed.
Drag to re-size
Hover over the widget, and a tooltip labeled “Resize widget” will appear in the bottom left and right corners.
When dragging a widget, a grid will be partially displayed to indicate available resizing options.
Widgets will have a default, minimum, and maximum size based on the widget type:
| Type | Default size | Minimum | Maximum |
| Single value | 2x2 | 2x2 | 8x2 |
| Line chart | 4x4 | 3x3 | 8x6 |

When choosing your Image widget type, you have two options:
- Select a page group generated from the most viewed pages of your website as a page group preview.
- Manually upload an image (JPG or PNG, up to 5MB).
If you prefer to create an image from a page group, select the 'Select a page group to get a preview' option and choose your desired page from the drop-down.
Then, a window will open, displaying a live version of your website with the selected page group.
You can navigate through the new window, close any cookie pop-up, or intentionally focus on a particular pop-up.
Note: Capturing a snapshot from your site won't work if you have an ad blocker on.
