Leverage the Alerts feature within Monitorings to help you to detect the slightest slowdown of your web pages for each regression of web quality that may occur. Improve in productivity thanks to the analysis of underlying problems and before/after comparison reports.
How to set up a Monitoring alert
1. From the 'Web Performance' > 'Synthetic Monitoring' menu, select the 'Monitoring' tab.
2. Click the three dot ellipsis menu icon followed by 'Create an alert'.
3. Use the 'Be alerted when...' dropdown to configure the alert thresholds:
- Standard Timings (Speed Index, Start Render, etc)
- Core Web Vitals
- Advanced Timings (TTI, FCP, etc)
- Structural Analysis Score
- Number of requests or page weight, including the possibility to segment the threshold for a given content type (ex: weight of the Javascript content)
4. For each threshold you can choose to be alerted if the measured value is less or greater than or lower than your custom objective.
5. Add recipients emails address(es).
7. Click 'Add alert'
You can delete, edit or add new alerts through your Synthetic Monitoring dashboard. Don't forget to update your goals after any significant update applied to your monitored pages.
