Compare two journeys side-by-side and analyze the differences between dates, segments and devices in a single view.
Use 'Compare' button to:
- Spot issues and opportunities more easily
- Envision end to end journeys of before and after pages
- Understand journeys of different user segments, during different time periods and between devices
How to use side-by-side Journey Analysis
1. Click the 'Compare' button.
2. Set your analysis context: device, timeframe and segment.
By default, the two journeys will have the same analysis context applied. If you want to compare two different segments, dates or devices, click on the one you want to change.
3. Choose your visualization:
Click on the journey selection drop-down of the journey visualization and select your visualization:
- users' main journeys from the landing page groups
- users' journeys after a specific page group.
Repeat this step on the second journey visualization to select the same one if you're still in compare mode.
4. Reverse journey mode:
Click on the Reverse journey option and select the page you're interested in from the drop-down menu.

5. Journey selection:
Toggle on the Journey selection to see a particular page sequence.
6. Exit compare mode: to stop comparing journeys, click on the 'X' icon in the top right corner of your screen.
