Goals let you track specific actions that happen on your site: like page views, button clicks, or menu hovers. When a visitor completes one of these actions, we count it as a "conversion" for that Goal.
You can use Goals to see which pages drive the most conversions, compare different visitor groups, and understand what's working on your site.
Where to find Goals: Go to ‘Analysis setup’ in the main menu, then click ‘Goals’.
What you can track with Goals
See what drives conversions
Discover which pages or specific areas (zones) on your site contribute most to completing a Goal. For example, if your Goal is "clicked Sign Up," you can see which pages lead the most visitors to click that button.
Compare different visitor groups
Understand the behavior of visitors who completed a Goal versus those who didn't. This helps you identify what successful visitors do differently so you can improve the experience for everyone.
Track any action that matters to you
A "conversion" doesn't have to be a purchase. Track newsletter signups, guide downloads, video views, contact page visits, or any action that's valuable to your business.
