How to exclude an error
1. From Error Analysis, click on an error that you want to dismiss.
2. From the top of the panel that opens, click 'exclude this error'.
To include the error, click the same button again now reading 'Include' this error.
Important to note when Excluding errors:
1. Excluding an error will apply to all Error Analysis tabs (Errors, Screens and Screen Groups. For example, If you exclude an error group in the Errors tab and then go to the Errors by Screen tab, it will also be dismissed.
2. Excluding an error will mark the error as excluded for all users.
3. Excluding an error is retroactive. For example, If you exclude an error group today and then update the Analysis context date range to one week ago, the error group will still be marked as dismissed.
4. We keep collecting errors that have been excluded as they may become impactful later on.
5. When you exclude an error group because it is not impactful in a certain context, you will exclude it completely, even though it might be impactful in some other context. (For example, if the error was not impacting your checkout screen but it actually impacts your registration screen).
How to filter by error status
In the Error explorer, use the error status drop down menu to filter by: Active, Excluded or All Errors.

When using the Analysis context to do error-based filtering, for example, Creating a segment in Impact Quantification, all errors will be taken into account, including errors excluded in Error Analysis. This logic also applies when building error-based alerts and dashboards.
