- And display metrics using the Metrics columns.
Personalization:

- Use the More menu to share and export your analysis with other teammates.
You will find a detailed explanation of each element below.
Understanding the Page Comparator interface
When you open Page Comparator, you'll see a table view of your website's pages with performance metrics displayed in columns. Here's what each element does:
1. Mapping selector:
Select which mapping you want to analyze pages from. You can either select a 'Page group' from a mapping or analyze a single URL using the 'Pages' option.
Note
'All Pages' displays all pages included in any of your mappings, regardless of the chosen mapping in the Analysis Context.
2. Pin pages
Click the pin icon on the left side of any page to keep it at the top of your list. This is useful for monitoring your most important pages while scrolling through the full list.
3. Search bar
Type a specific page name into the search bar to find it quickly instead of scrolling through your entire page list.
4. Analysis context
Use the analysis context panel to configure your analysis:
- Device: Filter by desktop, mobile, or tablet.
- Time period: Choose your date range.
- Segment: Apply user segments to focus on specific populations
Note
Mappings are not defined in the Analysis Context unless they are needed to refine a specific segment in your analysis.
5. Conversion goals
Select a conversion goal from the Goal module to see how each page contributes to that goal through the "conversion" metric. This helps you understand which pages are driving users toward completion.
6. Comparison mode
Enable Comparison mode to compare pages across different segments, devices, or time periods. Learn more in the Comparison mode in the Page Comparator article.
7. More menu
Click the More menu (three dots •••) to access additional features such as exporting your analysis or sharing it with team members.
8. Metrics columns
The table displays performance metrics in columns. Each metric has a tooltip. Hover over the metric name to see its definition. Metrics are divided into three categories:
- In-site navigation metrics: Related to the page's attractiveness (e.g., visits, entrances).
- In-page navigation metrics: Related to how users interact with the page (e.g., clicks, scrolls).
- Performance metrics: Related to the page's contribution to your selected goal
For detailed information on Page Comparator metrics, visit the Metrics section.
Customizing your Page Comparator view
You can customize which metrics appear in your Page Comparator and change the order in which they're displayed.
To customize your columns:
- Click ‘Customize columns’ at the top of the table.
- Check the box next to each metric you want to display.
- Uncheck the box for any metric you want to remove.
- To rearrange the order, click and hold the six dots on the right side of a metric name, then drag it to your preferred position.
- The metric at the top of the list will appear furthest to the left in your Page Comparator table.
Good to know
Customize your columns based on your analysis goals. If you're focused on conversion, prioritize performance metrics. If you are evaluating content engagement, prioritize in-page navigation metrics.
