In this article, we'll show you how your Account Owner can delegate billing permissions to another team member on your account. This can help when you need a member of your finance team to manage billing or if you're an Account Owner going on leave but don't want to transfer full ownership of the account to someone else.
Before you begin
- Only the Account Owner can delegate billing permissions.
- Ensure the user you're delegating billing permissions to is not already an Account Owner of a different account. Users who are already an Account Owner cannot manage billing in another account.
How to delegate billing permissions
1. Visit your Team page
2. Click Delegate permissions.
3. Start typing the name of the user who will receive the delegated permissions, then select the relevant user.
4. Click Delegate permissions.
How to revoke billing permissions
1. Visit your Team page
2. In the Account permissions section, find the user that is managing payments, plans, and billing information.
3. Click the trash can icon that is in line with the user's name.
4. To confirm removal of the delegated billing permissions, click Revoke permissions.
