Error Summaries is a Sense capability that uses Generative AI to help you quickly understand what each error is about and the impact it’s having, so you can easily prioritize and triage errors as necessary.
An error summary includes:
- A title that helps you understand, at a glance, the main issue caused by the error (e.g. “Klarna Payment Information Display Issue” as shown in the image below)
- An overview of any issues being caused by the error
- A comparative breakdown of the error’s occurrence and impact by; device type, browser type, operating system, conversion rate, impact on goal, missed revenue
- A ‘Steps to reproduce’ section that shows you the typical path your end-users took before the error occurred
How to use Error Summaries
Note: Accessing this feature
Can’t access Error summaries? It likely means the AI Service Schedule hasn’t been accepted by an Admin on your Contentsquare account. Visit this article to learn more about the activation steps.
Navigate to Error Analysis and click the ‘sparkle’ icon next to any error to load the Summary in the error side panel.
From the side panel, you’ll also find the rest of the collected error information and the option to summarize an error directly from there.
Using the steps to reproduce
See the typical steps your end-users took leading to the error, to help you and your team speed up time-to-resolution.
The steps are generated from Session Replay data that feature the error. Depending on the error type, they may not always reproduce the error, but they show what users typically did beforehand to help you identify the root cause.
Note: If there is no Session Replay data associated with the error, the steps to reproduce will not appear.
