Introduction
Whether you need a quick snapshot for a report or a scalable, automated pipeline, the Error Explorer gives you different ways to take your error data outside Contentsquare.
Note that the Data Connect and MCP options redirect you to separate capabilities. Access and eligibility rules for those capabilities apply independently.
Export visible rows as CSV
This feature allows you to download the errors currently displayed in Error Explorer as a CSV file.
What the CSV includes
- All visible rows in the current table view, up to 100 rows.
- Contextual metadata: project, period, segment applied, active filters, and current list view and grouping.
How to export as CSV
1. In Error Analysis, open the Error Explorer.
2. Use the Analysis Context controls to set your device, date range, and segment.
3. Use the 'List By' dropdown to choose your view: Errors, Pages, Page Groups, or Errors on Page Group.
4. Apply any 'Filters' to narrow down the results.
5. Use the 'Rows per page' selector at the bottom of the table to display up to 100 rows.
6. Click 'Export' in the toolbar.
7. Select 'Export Visible Rows as CSV'.
8. The file downloads automatically to your device.
💡 Tip
Set rows per page to 100 before exporting to include as many errors as possible in a single CSV download.
⚠ Important
The CSV includes visible rows only. Errors not currently visible in the table
are not exported.
Maximum 100 rows per export, matching the maximum rows-per-page setting.
The trend column is excluded from the CSV.
This is a one-time download, not a recurring or scheduled export. For automated
extraction, please use Data Connect.
