When you create a Contentsquare account, on the Free plan, you can access a free trial of the paid Growth plan. This FAQ explains how the trial works, what’s included, and what happens when it ends.
What is the free trial, and when does it start?
The trial lets you explore Contentsquare’s Experience Analytics, Growth features and experience the full value of the platform before choosing the most suitable plan for your business.
Your 15-day trial starts as soon as you install your tracking code. Before installation, you’ll see information about the trial on your home page to help guide you through setup.
What’s included in my free trial?
Your free trial gives you access to features on the Growth plan of Experience Analytics Web to help you discover how Contentsquare can be implemented into your workflow. During the 15-day trial, you can track up to 200,000 sessions and gain access to features such as Sense AI, frustration score and more.
What happens when my free trial ends?
When your trial ends, you’ll receive both in-app and email notifications. If you don’t upgrade, your site automatically moves to the Free plan. Once downgraded, additional data capture and paid features are disabled, but you can still access existing data.
It's also worth knowing that your project limit will reduce from 3 to 1. The two most recently created projects will automatically become inactive and move to your archived projects list — your data won't be lost. You can reactivate them at any time by upgrading your plan.
What happens to my data after the trial ends?
All the data collected during your trial remains accessible in your account. Even if your site is downgraded to the Free plan, you’ll still be able to view the data collected during the trial period.
How do I choose a paid plan?
An Account admin can upgrade your plan at anytime during the trial in the 'Manage subscriptions' section of your profile When your free trial ends, you’ll be prompted to select a plan. Visit our pricing page to compare plans.
How can I continue using the Free plan?
You can choose to continue using Contentsquare on the Free plan when your trial ends. With the Free plan, you’ll continue to have access to your trial data and the features included in the free plan.
