Daily insights
Why is my Daily insights empty?
The Daily insights requires sufficient data to generate insights:
- New projects: Wait 24-48 hours for enough data to accumulate
- Low traffic projects: May not generate insights consistently
- Browser issues: Clear cache or try an incognito window
Why do the daily insights show yesterday's data?
This is how it's designed to work. Insights are generated once nightly (around 2 AM) to help you start your day with context about what happened yesterday.
Why is my 'Watched' card greyed out?
A watched card turns grey when its underlying data has lapsed past its refresh cycle. This is the stale state. The card is still accessible. Click "What's the latest on this insight?" to open a Sense Analyst conversation with the insight loaded as context and get an updated view.
Analysis results
Why is Sense Analyst analyzing different pages or data than I expected?
Here's how to get more precise results:
- Be specific with names: "Analyze using the mapping named [exact name]" instead of "Use the global mapping"
- Include exact URLs: "Analyze: https://example.com/checkout"
- Repeat key requirements: State important filters or segments multiple times in your prompt
- Use project context: If you're an Admin, you can add context (custom instructions) to make Sense conversations more efficient for your entire team. Learn more in How to configure project context.
Why doesn't Sense Analyst apply my filters or date ranges?
Restate your requirements multiple times in the same prompt.
Example: "Analyze mobile traffic from paid search. Use only mobile sessions. Filter for paid search channel only."
How can I verify the insights Sense Analyst provides in an analysis?
You can verify insights in several ways:
Check the underlying data
Click 'View source' next to any insight to open the analysis in its native tool (such as Journey Analysis, Funnels, or Zoning). This lets you see the raw data Sense Analyst used to generate its recommendation.
Refine your question
If an insight seems unclear or incomplete, rephrase your prompt to be more specific. For example, instead of "Why are users leaving?" try "Why are users leaving the checkout page on mobile devices?"
Provide feedback
Use the thumbs up/down buttons to rate the quality of insights. This helps improve Sense Analyst's recommendations over time and flags any responses that may need review.
What analyses can I run on mobile app projects?
Support for mobile app projects is currently limited.
- Not supported: Zoning, Mobile Heatmaps, Page Comparator
- Supported: Journey Analysis, Funnels, Screen metrics, Error Analysis, Session Replay, Speed Analysis
Saved prompts and schedules
Why aren't my scheduled analysis reports arriving?
Scheduled reports will begin one calendar day after you have set up and confirmed the schedule.
Here's what to check:
- Look in spam/junk folders
- Verify email addresses are correct (click pencil icon to review settings)
Can I edit someone else's saved prompts?
You can only edit prompts you created. To modify a team members prompt, run it and save a copy as your own.

Why are my analyses taking a long time to load?
- Complex analyses can take 30 seconds or longer, this is normal
- Narrow your date range for faster performance
- Close other browser tabs to free up memory
- If timeout occurs, refresh and try again
